Meet the Team

Andrew is a professional investor experienced across multiple asset classes (public equity & debt, private equity & venture capital, real estate) and industries.

He started his career at KPMG (valuation group) followed by 12y long career at Goldman Sachs Asset Management in its secretive principal investing arm SSG, where he got unique multi-asset class investing experience and delivered outstanding investment returns for the firm.

Andrew is an active early-stage angel investor & advisor having built a portfolio of 20+ tech startups (e.g. Miro.com). He lives in Cyprus since 2021 with his wife and 7 children. He enjoys playing tennis and riding EUC.

Like most other investors, he had been tracking his personal assets, liabilities and net worth manually in Excel s/sheets for over 10 years. He was looking for a suitable app to automate his personal balance sheet, but existing portfolio trackers lacked data accuracy, global account connectivity, privacy / security and convenient mobile app design.

That is why he decided to build 8FIGURES – the 1st investment tracker designed by professional investors.

Damir is an engineering veteran managing IT projects and teams since 1989 across a range of industries. His years in the IT industry started with 8-bit computing and machine code.

For most of his career, Damir worked for software engineering companies as well as an independent contractor. Most recently he was the CIO of Carnegie Technologies – a US-based software development firm.

He delivered products for large corporate clients as well as startups from the banking, accounting and property management industries among others.

Damir lives in Chile since 1999 with his wife and son. He enjoys skiing, motorcycling and IPSC; he is fluent in English, Spanish and Serbian.

After successfully developing and delivering a fintech super-app for his client, he joined the 8FIGURES team to lead product engineering.
